The Living Desert Away Misison January 8, 2006, Palm Desert, CA
The Living Desert is a botannical garden and zoo located in Palm Desert, CA, a long drive inland for anyone living in Orange, Los Angeles, or San Bernardino County. The Ulysses takes an annual trip to The Living Desert as it adopts an endangered species every year from this facility. It has grown up a lot in the past few years and is definitely one of my favorite desert zoos. The Athena joined the Ulysses in its annual trip for 2006.
